There are gods who are desperately desiring our worship! And before we say we will never worship a lesser god than GOD almighty; we need to pay a very close attention, these gods are subtle, we might not have thought they are gods. If we don’t know, they are capable of replacing GOD in our lives.

The first of these gods, and the very basic, the most fundamental is our STOMACH! Well, there is our first god revealed. We worship this god via our appetite. Let’s recollect that worship is obedience, in essence, every time we obey our appetite, we are actually worshipping this god. Can we try and relate this with previous instructions we have received on worship:

Who or what we worship is our master – is our appetite our master?

Our master determines what we have access to – what can our appetite give us?

If we obey our appetite, we will live to serve it for as long as it has a hold on us!
