Motive reveals intention. Why are we doing what we are doing? What is the motive behind our actions? Who or what is telling us to do what we are doing? Whose words has more compelling influence on us to the point that we are ready to obey such words? Well, the nugget today is question focused! There is a tendency to see something hidden when questions are asked.

In answering these questions, we will begin to see who or what our true master is (and for some, masters). When our true motives for service are revealed, we may begin to see that God is not the One we are serving; a better word might be using God. Our allegiance may be to something else far from God.

We will soon be looking into the progression of worship. Till then however, let’s ask ourselves questions; for anyone that ask is bound to receive answers!
